Changing your profile picture
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun'
- Click 'edit my profile'
- Click 'choose file'
- Select the picture you want
- Click 'upload'
- Click 'save'

Editing your personal information
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click 'edit my profile' tab
- Complete the fields that you desire (Name, date of birth, home town, postcode, country of residence)

NB. Your age will not be displayed if the 'Hide your age' box is selected

- Click 'save' tab

Changing your password
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click 'edit my profile' tab
- Click 'password' tab
- Complete the following fields
- Click 'save' tab

Email Notifications
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click 'edit my profile' tab
- Click 'email notifications' tab
- Select whether you want notifications to be on or off
- Click 'save' tab

Becoming a supporter of a club
- Log in
- Type the name of a club into the Search Bar at the top of all goalrun.com pages.
- Press enter
- When you are looking at your club's profile use the dropdown available to pick your favourite TEAM within the club.
- Click the 'Support' button once you have found the team of your choice
- Click 'confirm' to become a supporter. Click the 'X' to cancel

NB. The club you have just 'become a supporter' of will now appear on your goalrun homepage (and if you already support one or more other clubs, will appear in your 'Isupport' area too.)

NB. To stop being a supporter of a club, click on that club page, and click 'remove from Isupport'

Adding friends on goalrun
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Type the name you are searching for in the 'find your friends on goalrun'
- Press enter

You will now be on the searched persons results page

- Click on a person to travel to their profile page
To add them as a 'goalrun friend' click 'add as friend'
- Click 'OK'

NB. Your 'friend request' will be sent via email to the person you requested.
Once they have 'accepted' your request, they will appear in your friend section

Receiving friend requests on goalrun
- You will receive an email from goalrun notifying you of a pending request
- Click the link in the email
This will take you to your goalrun page
- Click the 'invites' tab at the top of the page
You will see a list of any pending friend requests
- Click 'accept' to accept them as a friend, click 'decline' to reject the friend request

NB. If you are not a 'friend', you can see the persons profile, but you do not have the ability to write on that persons wall

If you accept a request, that person will now appear in your 'friends' section

Writing on a friends goalrun wall
- Log in
- Click on the friend who's wall you want to write on
- In the 'wall' section write your message
- Click 'post' once you have finished writing your message
- Your message will now appear on that friends goalrun wall

NB. You can also do the same on your own wall
If something inappropriate appears on your wall, you can click the 'report' tab in the 'wall' section
This will alert goalrun of the incident immediately.

Uploading a photo onto your homepage
- Log in
- Click 'upload' in the 'my photos' section
- Click 'choose file'
- Select the file you wish to upload (within max. file size limit)
- Enter a caption
- Enter a tag (The information entered in this section must be relevant to what is displayed in the picture). Tagged images will be sent to the club administrators for review. They will then choose whether or not to show the photos on the club and team pages.
- Click 'upload' tab

Uploading a video onto your homepage
- Log in
- Click 'upload' in the 'my videos' section
- Complete the 'caption' section
- Complete the 'Embed' section (enter the web address from youtube)

NB. Your video must be uploaded onto youtube before it can be uploaded onto goalrun
Complete the ‘tag’ section (The information entered in this section must be relevant to what is displayed in the video)Tagged videos will be sent to the club administrators for review. They will then choose whether or not to show the videos on the club and team pages.

- Click ‘upload’ tab

Moving widgets

- On your home page, you can move the sections around, so your homepage is set up to how you want it
- Simply move the cursor over a field, when a cross appears, click, and move it to where you want it to appear on your home page

Quick Upload
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click 'quick upload' tab
- This will show a menu, enabling you to quickly add videos, photos, blogs and RSS feeds
- Select the one you wish to use, and follow the relevant instructions above

Adding RSS feeds
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click 'quick upload' tab
- Click 'suggest an RSS feed'
- Complete the 'insert the RSS URL' box
- Click 'confirm'

Adding friends who support your club
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- Click on one of the clubs you support
- This will take you to this club homepage
- Click 'supporters' tab

You will now see a thumbnail display of all of that clubs goalrun supporters

- To add someone as a friend, click 'Add to friends' tab

This will send a notification email to who ever you wish to add as a 'goalrun friend'

Writing a blog
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- In the 'blog' section, click the 'write' tab
- Complete the 'title', 'tags' and 'content' fields
- Click 'submit'

NB. The information entered in the 'tag' section MUST be relevant to the content of the blog. Eg If your blog is about 'Team A', then the tag must include 'Team A'

Viewing a match page
- Log in
- Click 'my goalrun' tab
- In the 'match centre' area, click the 'match' tab of the game you wish to see
- This will take you to the 'match page' for that match

NB. If you click 'home' from a 'match page', you will be directed to that clubs home page.
To return to your homepage, click the 'my goalrun' tab

'Search Bar'
- At any time, no matter where you are on goalrun, you can use the 'search bar' (top right of any goalrun page)
- Search for friends, clubs, teams or leagues by simply typing the name into the search bar.
- Press Enter

If you get no result, check for misspellings and sometimes league sponsor names can affect the search
